Whisper® is designed for spaces where acoustic performance must meet particularly demanding requirements. In school gyms, sports halls and swimming pools, it effectively reduces reverberation, improves listening comfort and makes communication easier.
Ultra-lightweight, moisture-resistant, washable and durable, Whisper® is also resistant to ball impact, as confirmed by testing. It is an excellent solution for intensively used sports facilities.

Whisper® is made for demanding spaces
Large volumes, hard surfaces and intensive use make sports halls, school gyms and swimming pools particularly challenging acoustic environments.
Whisper® combines high sound absorption performance with the durability required in such spaces. It is lightweight, fibre-free, washable and resistant to water, chlorine and cleaning agents. Its semi-rigid structure withstands the demanding conditions typical of sports facilities, including ball impact.

Acoustic performance without the weight
At a thickness of 50 mm, Whisper® weighs only 1.25 kg per square metre. A standard 1200 × 2400 mm sheet therefore weighs approximately 3.6 kg.
Its exceptionally low weight helps minimise additional loads on ceiling structures. This is particularly important when upgrading older schools, school gyms, sports halls and other buildings where the existing structure has limited spare load-bearing capacity.
At the same time, 50 mm Whisper® achieves sound absorption Class A.

In the gym at Malborska School in Kraków, we installed Whisper® panels on the ceiling and side walls.
The large room volume, hard surfaces and sounds generated during sports activities resulted in strong reflections and long reverberation. The introduction of sound-absorbing material helped control the acoustic field and improve communication conditions between teachers and students.

Whisper® has been tested for ball impact resistance and achieved the highest Class 1A for the tested configuration.
The test was carried out at a ball velocity of 16.5 m/s ± 0.8 m/s, corresponding to demanding applications in sports halls and school gyms.
The unique structureof Whisper®
Whisper® is made from high-performance polyethylene foam with a networked, closed-cell, honeycomb-like structure. This unique structure allows the material to remain acoustically “soft”, absorbing sound energy rather than reflecting it.
Unlike many conventional fibrous materials, Whisper® contains no irritating fibres, does not crumble and does not provide a nutrient source for fungal growth. It has low VOC emissions and is suitable for use in humid environments.
The product has a VOC emission rating of A+ and has successfully passed fungal resistance testing in accordance with ASTM C1338.

Whisper® can be cut, curved and shaped into a wide variety of forms.
CNC-machined elements, patterns, lettering and compositions combining different material colours can all be created.
Acoustics can become part of the architecture rather than an addition to it.
Easy Installation
Whisper® can be used as wall and ceiling cladding, suspended acoustic baffles or as elements installed within frame structures.
The material can be easily cut on site and processed using a knife, saw, CNC machining, routing or waterjet cutting.

Whisper® can be adapted to a wide variety of interiors and structures.
Depending on the application and environmental conditions, panels can be adhesively bonded or mechanically fixed to walls, mounted to ceilings, suspended as acoustic baffles, installed using concealed Flushmount fixings, or fitted within frames and profiles.
For ceiling installations, the manufacturer recommends the use of an additional mechanical safety fixing.
The appropriate installation method should be selected according to the substrate, environmental conditions and intended application of Whisper®.
